Junior Infants A and B
This week Junior Infants A and B celebrated Rosh Hashanah which is the Jewish New Year.
On Friday the classes ate some apples dipped in honey. Apples are sweet and honey is sweet too. Jewish people eat apples dipped in honey on Rosh Hashanah for a sweet and joyful year ahead.
As we all ate our apples dipped in honey we said 'Shanah Tovah' which is Hebrew for 'Happy New Year'.
We all really enjoyed learning about Rosh Hashanah this week.
Shanah Tovah everyone!
